The course is on population-dynamical models, starting with simple dynamics of one species. Subsequently, intraspecific competition, interspecific competition, predation, parasitism tritrophic systems, omnivory, apparent competition and metapopulations will be covered.

The theoretical classes will be given in the mornings, computer classes in the afternoons. Each participant needs to use her/his own laptop, and needs to have R installed, including the package deSolve.

The course starts on the 18th of August at 9:00 in room 104 at Entomology.
